The inaugural, first annual, Greystone Mansion Concours d’Elegance in 2010 at the former Doheny Family Estate in Beverly Hills celebrates restoration in conjunction with the Friends of Greystone a non- profit 501©(3) organization, with all proceeds of the event going toward the restoration of the automobile garages and related elements at the Estate.

The cars on exhibit represent the years that the Doheny Family resided in the home, from 1927 – 1955; The Petersen Automotive Museum (a partner of the event) provides several cars that have historical significance pertinent to the era in which the Doheny family resided at the mansion. Your ticket to the Greystone Mansion Concours will also include a two for one ticket of admission into the Petersen Museum.

Event tickets are all inclusive and provide viewing of approximately 100 rare and unique vehicles at this historic site, along with the presence of automobile/automobilia related vendors; and, guests will enjoy vintage fashion shows, mansion tours, musical entertainment, food and beverages, a historical exhibit related to the Doheny Family and Greystone Estate, all included in the price of admission.

In addition, Gooding & Company, the official auction house of the Pebble Beach Concours d' Elegance is present, coordinating displays of un-restored vehicles and related elements at the estate's stables and garages.

Ticket sales will be limited to the first 3,000 guests so that each and every aspect of the concours can be enjoyed by all attendees in a relaxed and comfortable atmosphere.

Historic Greystone Estate hosts a variety of events throughout the year. One popular event shown in photos above was the Annual Beverly Hills Garden & Design Showcase. That event provided a rare opportunity to tour the mansion’s estate rooms, richly decorated by more than 30 top designers from the LA area. Landscape vignettes will showcase new planting trends, and on weekends, the event featured special activities including a vintage car display and lectures on the mansion’s architecture, history and gardens.

A relic of the golden era of the great house in America, Greystone is one of the few great family homes in California to survive. Veranda has the unique opportunity to recreate a 21st century vision of this architectural jewel through the eyes of today's most talented and influential designers. All proceeds benefit Greystone Estate.
