5K/10K is flat out and back. You can run and walk the most beautiful beach in America and enjoy the pounding of the surf, cool ocean breezes and the crashing of the white water waves. Look out across 20 miles of the pacific ocean and see Catalina Island in the distance. Walk under the historic Huntington Beach Pier. It's Thanksgiving morning. This event is for everyone!
7:00 AM - 5K/10K runners only
8:00 AM - 5K/10K runners/walkers
9:00 AM - 5k/10K runners/walkers
9:30 AM -1K- kids only
As this is a non-competitive event, we will not be spending the money for official times. causelife will use the additional funds for drilling clean water wells. We will have a race clock at the start/finish line so you can see your time as you cross the finish line.
The course will be marked every 1K with a sign stating your distance.
Registration Pick Up
Registration for this event will open up at 6AM. You will receive your bib number, safety pins to pin it on your shirt, and a race t-shirt. Please bring your registration receipt to the pre-registration tent.
Walkers and Child Strollers Welcome
Casual walkers and families with child strollers are welcome! For the safety of everyone, we ask that you walk the 5K and start at the back of the pack.
Restrooms and Water Stations
Huntington Beach has clean public restrooms all along the event course. Drinking fountains are available at each public restroom. Additionally, there will be water stations located at each of the U-turns for the 5K and 10K, the finish line and the registration area.
Huntington Beach city parking lot will be open before 7AM. Cost for parking is $15.00 after 7AM. Metered street parking is also available. NOTE: the parking meters only accept coins no credit cards.
Storage of Personal Items
Please take the normal precautions and lock your belongings in your vehicle.
There will be no dogs or pets allowed during any part of this event.
Rain or Shine Event
Entry fees are non-transferable and non-refundable. This is a rain or shine event.
Bike Path Educate
The Huntington Beach lifeguards have allowed this event if we conduct it safely. The bike path will remain open during our event. Please be safe, stay to the right, be cautious and courteous of all users.
