Purpose

To further the sport of triathlon. These are short distance triathlons open to all levels of ability. All are welcome to participate. Excellent for novices, great competition for the seasoned triathlete.

Additional Notes

What a way to spend Sunday! Nestled in a beautiful Sierra location, the course is hilly but incredibly scenic. Truly a fun and fast triathlon. Water temperature will be approximately 70 degrees; wet suits allowed, but not necessary. Air temperature will be approx. 70 degrees. The bike is rolling, climbing loop course. The run is rolling road. Water will be available on the run. The event is competitive and timed. Lodging & camping are available nearby. Call the Tamarack Pines Inn at (209) 753-2080 or the US Forest Service at (209) 795-1381 for camping information. You must use a bike helmet (CPSC approved) and swim cap! Caps are available for purchase at event sites. Transition areas are fenced and guarded - only entrants are allowed in.
