Renaissance Faire.
CORONA -
Koroneburg Old World Festival. Meet hundreds of family members living, working & playing in Southern California’s only permanent Renaissance Village! Visitors to this 1450-1600 European Village are entertained, discover fine arts and crafts, and enjoy delectable food and beverages. The setting is the fictitious estate of the Baron Heinrich Von Lauffer, located along the Rhine river (aka Santa Ana River) between Mainz and Strasbourg. Each year the Baron invites the finest minds and most talented actors to celebrate the coming of spring at his Barony of Koroneburg. The festival celebrates the inventions and changes of the renaissance period.

Anatolian Cultures & Food Festival. Over 100
dancers, entertainment, vendors, activities for
kids and amazing costumes welcome you to this
annual festival at Orange County's Great Park.
Styled after the Grand Bazaar in Instanbul, the
vendor showcase provides the foods and flavors
of a far away land. Time: Daily 10 a.m. to

Historic Flags. The California State Capitol is home to a remarkable collection of nearly 50 flags dating from the Civil War, Spanish American War and World War I.

SUNSET BEACH -
Sunset Beach Art Festival - This annual
event is a local favorite. Held on the greenbelt
(North & South Pacific), the event begins at 10
a.m. and goes till late afternoon. Cost: Free
admission. Arts, crafts, a fundraiser raffle,
live music and some vendor booths with soda and
hot dogs are available. Take mom for Mother's
Day and buy her a gift right there.
SUNOL - Toast of
Spring on the Wildflower Train. Livermore Valley vintners host
wine tasting to during a one hour excursion filled with views of
California poppies, lupin and mustard wildflowers seen from a
vintage train ride through Niles Canyon. Board at the old Sunol
depot and travel part of the historic route of the first
transcontinental railroad. The one-hour round-trip excursion is
about 14 miles. Suggested donation for regular trips: $10 (this

TEMPLETON -
DreamCatcher, theatrical. Beautiful fantasy
