fairs in the U.S. Pig races, people contests,

HUNTINGTON BEACH -
US Open of Surfing. On this final day of the
US Open of Surfing the top surfer is selected in
final heats. While the Thursday through Saturday
beach games such as BMX are winding down early,
this is the most exciting day to see the winner
of the surf competition be selected and win his
cash prize. Get to town early and get parked.

Julius Caesar, play. Long Beach Shakespeare
Company's FREE Summer Shakespeare Festival is
back for its 11th Season! Intrigue, conspiracy,
murder... and a ghost! It's a power
struggle--Roman style. On stage in the classic
political thriller! William Shakespeare's JULIUS
CAESAR. It's festival seating: bring blankets or
low-backed chairs to sit on. Bring a picnic or

Oxnard Salsa Festival. Two days of spicy
foods and sizzling entertainment in downtown
Oxnard. The 16th Annual Festival is
presented by the Oxnard Downtowners and features
top salsa bands, non-stop salsa dancing, vendor
marketplace shopping, Kids Korner, Salsa Tasting
Tent, international foods, a salsa recipe
contest, and more. This award-winning Festival
is held from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. daily. Location:
