SAN FRANCISCO -
Comedy at the Stud with Candy Churilla. A
night of fabulous stand-up comedy with Bay Area
favorite and darling of the gay comedy
community, Candy Churilla! Candy appeared on
season six of NBC's Last Comic Standing. She was
born and raised in Scranton, Pennsylvania, where
she learned to drink. As a little girl, she
dreamed of escaping Scranton to make a better
life for herself and she finally has--in
Oakland, of all places, where she hosts the
monthly Backroom Comedy at McNally’s Irish Pub.
She produces A Fag, A Hag, & A Drag, a stand-up
comedy show featuring Ronn Vigh, Pippi
Lovestocking and herself and is a regular
performer at Harvey’s in the Castro. You can
hear her on Pirate Cat Radio in San Francisco,
where she co-hosts Ben Feldman Presents Ben
Feldman's the Ben Feldman Show with Candy
Churilla and Microphones. Candy’s recording a
DVD, so come out and laugh loudly! Time: 10 p.m.
