Bethlehem is an annual event that has been held for about a decade.
Offered free to the public, thousands come to
see this nativity scene. It begins just
after dark (6 p.m. and goes to 8:30 p.m.)

Behind the Funnies. Exhibit at
Charles Schulz Musuem The Facts Behind the
Funnies: Schulz's Passion for Precision. As a
cartoonist read by millions of fans, Charles
Schulz felt an obligation to get his facts
straight about the subjects he tackled in
Peanuts. This exhibition reveals Schulz's
dedication to detail in order to ensure that
sports plays and positions (from ice skating to
surfing), medical conditions, musical notes, and
even Woodstock’s shorthand were accurately
depicted. Runs through Jan. 1, 2010. Time: 11
