A true cross country run through the scenic dirt roads and trails at Talley Vineyards. Timing chips provided for all 5K & 10K runners. Aid stations with water will be provided on the course. Water and fresh fruit provided at the finish. All participants will be entered post-race raffle. Award ceremony for overall, age group, and "I Beat the Vintner" winners immediately following the 10K.

The Marianne Talley Memorial Fun Run is an annual 5K Run/1-Mile Walk event held at Talley Vineyards in Arroyo Grande, CA, with a 10K added new this year. This fun filled event is perfect for active families and runners alike. The course takes you through the picturesque scenery at Talley Vineyards along dirt roads and trails through the vineyards. A commemorative “I Beat the Vintner” T-Shirt will be awarded to those who finish the 5K Fun Run before Vintner Brian Talley.
Marianne was an avid athlete who competed in swimming, running, cycling, and triathlon events most of her life. She was a member of the SLO Roadrunners Running and Triathlon Club, and completed the Ironman Triathlon in 1992. She died suddenly on May 18, 1993, from complications associated with heart arrhythmia.
The Marianne Talley Foundation is a nonprofit organization that was established in 1993 to fund scholarships for college-bound athletes from Arroyo Grande High School. The Fun Run was established as an annual fund-raising event in 1994. The run is dedicated to honoring Marianne's memory and to her commitment to health, fitness and exercise.
