Embassy Suites Mandalay Beach is
ranked one of our favorite beach resorts and possibly the only all suites
beach resort directly on the beach in California. What's not to love
about living in the lap of luxury, overlooking the Pacific Ocean and Channel
Islands? This hotel property has everything you could want.
While some say the wish they'd paid
more to get the ocean view suites, frankly we find the location can't be
beat and we're willing to rough it in non-ocean rooms. The reason is that
you have a self-contained home inside each suite and when you need the
beach, it' no more than a few hundred feet from any location on property.
While there are other suites up the coast in places such as Pismo Beach at
the new Dolphin Bay, Oxnard's Embassy Suites generally offers greater price
points closer to Los Angeles attractions as a Gateway to the Channel
Islands.
There's wine tasting, go-kart racing,
golf, fishing, outlet shopping, gourmet dining, trips to Channel Islands on
the daily boat excursions and the glorious beach. Tons of sand, Wheel Fun
Rentals surrey bikes, jog paths, surfing, sunshine and sensational scenery
are all within reach at Embassy Suites - Mandalay Beach Resort.
The Breakfast - Free! This is the finest
Embassy Suites made-to-order breakfast we've seen or tasted. The hotel has a
special restaurant for spectacular breakfasts.
If you think we're gushing over this
hotel, you are correct. We are not alone. The popularity of this hotel
property is growing and we're now seeing many days in which it's fully
booked. The price of popularity is a small price to pay for doing our
readers a favor by letting them know we were glad to find this beach resort
and have been back, discovering it's only getting better!
