Disneyland's New Orleans Square is a French style quarters
with rides such as the Haunted Mansion and Pirates of the Caribbean. Jazz
musicians come out and treat the guests to some superb instrumentals, there
are several restaurants and cafes with a variety of foods and there are
many hidden nooks as you meander through the narrow alley ways and streets.
It's often crowded but lots of fun.
You can reach New Orleans Square by train or several
other routes which include walking around the bend where the Mississippi
Queen riverboat departs. Try the lemonade freeze sold there and at
other carts around the park. It's not too expensive, comes in a souvenir
cup and is very good on a hot day.
