Discovery Science Center is a gem in
the heart of California's ninth largest city, Santa Ana. The perfect spot
designed for kids, this hands-on museum features science Wow exhibits,
learning experiences and many events throughout the year. Special themed
exhibits rotate to keep the museum interesting and fresh for tourists and
locals alike. Events and exhibits throughout the year keep locals and
tourists entertained, and coming back time and again to enjoy interesting

Bubblefest in the spring, or
The Science of Gingerbread around the Christmas season.
Discovery Science Center is Orange
County's leading destination for hands-on science fun. It invites guests to
explore more than 120 science exhibits in seven themed areas including
Discovery Stadium, Techno Arts, Air & Space, Perception, Dynamic Earth,
Quake Zone, and KidStation. From Virtual Volleyball to making waves in
a 19-foot Wave Tank, there's something to maintain the interest of most
youth. They can watch an indoor Geyser erupt, create music on a Laser Beam
Harp, lie on a Bed of 3500 REAL nails, climb a Rock Wall and dance on a
Musical Floor.Special events include summer camps, live science
demonstrations and more.
Discovery Science Center is located at
2500 N. Main St. in Santa Ana. In front of the building is a 10-story solar
Cube that towers over Interstate 5. The Cube, which provides the center with
a percentage of energy, is lit with colorful fiber optics for spectacular
nighttime view. Discovery Science Center hours: 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. daily,
