Debbie Stock loves to travel. Unfortunately, she doesnn't do it quite as much as she would like, but with a little help from her friends, she posts their stories and journals reflecting the beauty of California and its beaches.

Stock has freelanced for corporations big and small and now publishes her own web site filled with information about California vacations. Thanks to the WWW and Internet, Stock found that one person can create something with global reach. The Beachcalifornia web is seen throughout the world. For years guests have commented on the quality photos and world class journal.

Stock can't do it alone however. If you have an event, a story, video or story you'd like to submit about California, such editorial offerings are always welcomed.

Bio
Debbie Stock began her journalism career at the University of Kansas as staff photographer for the Daily Kansan. After graduating with honors from the William Allen White School of Journalism, she worked over a year as Chief Photographer and Reporter for a Chicago Sun-Times newspaper. Relocating to California, she began writing feature, travel and news stories for numerous publications, including Los Angeles Times, Orange County Register, San Francisco Chronicle and San Diego Union-Tribune. Stock also wrote business stories and profiles for Executive publications under the direction of an award-winning Business Week editor, plus articles about heating systems, energy resources, pharmaceuticals and many more topics for a variety of trade and consumer publications.

Assigned to a two-year project for an Olympic Games sponsor, she helped win a national public relations award with a successful news campaign that was published as a case study in a college textbooks. Stock also served three years as press director for a nonprofit research organization and became one of the top media contacts worldwide. Her news releases to national and international media outlets yielded thousands of articles in consumer magazines, newspapers, TV and radio programs. She assisted in production of many television specials by providing content, guests and film locations.

At Fortune 500 firms such as Edison International and AT&T, she's reported on technical topics, provided spot news and major events coverage for several decades.  While she continues to produce news content for major corporations, she also publishes travel, lifestyle, historical and scientific information, has worked as project director on print products and publications, copy editor on several books and has built and launched websites for a variety of organizations.
