The Glory of Christmas in a spectacular
glass cathedral setting with one of the world's great pipe organs features live
animals on stage and actors reliving on of the Bible's favorite stories about
the birth of Jesus. This event includes colorful costumes, music, angels that
soar through the air and show that offers both meaning. It's become a family
tradition for thousands who have seen this event and recommend it as one of the
best shows ever to celebrate Christmas.
Glory of Christmas began with the goal of becoming a holiday tradition in
Southern California, when Crystal Cathedral first thought of what would offer
the greatest impact, entertainment and value for those celebrating the season.
Today it draws visitors from around the world who watch the nativity unfold with
wonder.
Pre-recorded orchestration by the London Symphony Orchestra provides the musical
backdrop for live performances by adult and child soloists. The Cathedral's
world-renowned pipe organ also fills the all-glass structure with glorious

In addition to the annual Glory of
Christmas production, there's also a Glory of Easter performance schedule, as
well. Regular church services, events, choirs, a religious campus, bookstore and
guided and non-guided tours are available most days throughout the year. Crystal
Cathedral also offers crisis intervention, counseling, support groups and many
programs available to the public.
Glory of Christmas is held annually from
late November through the first of January
The Crystal Cathedral's Glory of Christmas, a traditional
Christmas pageant that includes the birth of Jesus, wisemen from Bethlehem,
angels flying up to 25 miles-per-hour and the famed glass structure that
enhances the setting can bring melancholy, sentiment and joy, but the
setting for the performance is very Crystal Cathedral, very nice.
Glory of Christmas performances include 2,500 seats that often sell out often.
The Glory of Christmas is performed at the Crystal Cathedral in Garden Grove,
just a few miles from Disneyland. The Glory of Christmas website includes
