Where to eat -
Boé restaurant
offers a
fantastic (and affordable) on-site option for meals. Boé, which is an
acronym for "Bacchus, Orpheus, Epicurius" serves eclectic New American
Cuisine. A to-die-for breakfast dish called "french toast bites" playfully
delights the palette with sweet and salty flavors. Crisp, thick bacon
sandwiched into bite-size servings of french toast that are topped with
morsels of diced, cooked apple bits, are the centerpiece of a dish that
includes a side serving of infused maple syrup and a poached egg. It's the
perfect meal to begin your day of activities in Beverly Hills. Lunch menus
(subject to change) include Caramelized Apple Bleu Cheese Salad or Seared
Halibut with Golden Beets and Grapefruit. For lunch or dinner, lighter faire
includes Mini curry burgers served with delicious tamarind chutney. For
dinner, guests drool over Dueling Steaks-Flatiron
vs. Heirloom Tomato that includes sautéed mustard greens, haricot vert and
balsamic-caramel demi. Other delicious dinner entrees may include Red Chile
Enchilada Stack with 3 Cheeses or Seared Sea Scallops with Japanese Pear and
Pomegranate-Chambord Reduction.
Cocktails are a definite draw and keep
the skilled bartending staff on the go, constantly stirring, shaking and
blending some of the most delicious-tasting drinks on the West Coast.
When you're in the mood, try a Sex Kitten that includes Ciroc Vodka,
sweetened limejuice, cranberry juice and raspberry puree. Other house
favorites include Berry Jitos, Mount Thy Mango, Zen and Eat a Peach. If you
like coffee like we do, try the berri buzzy martini. The heavenly drink
includes stoli razberi, dr mcgillicuddy's vanilla schnapps and espresso.
Nearby restaurants range from
affordable, casual Nate 'N Al's delicatessen, Beverly Hills Diner, The
Cheesecake Factory, Il Pastaio and El Torito to pricier Aqua Restaurant and Lounge, Spago,
Chaya Brasserie Beverly Hills and many
more!
Getting there -
Close to Los Angeles International Airport and Burbank Airport, The Crescent
Hotel is located just south of Santa Monica Boulevard and north of Wilshire
Boulevard several miles east of San Diego Freeway (405), and north of Santa
Monica Freeway (10).
What to wear - While attire is
California casual, be sure to take an attractive blouse, fashionable sweater
or jacket and a decent pair of shoes. At Cheesecake Factory you need not
dress up but in several of the finer restaurants, you'll be glad to you have
something more chic or dressy. For general weather conditions, locals dress
in layers, seldom needing more than a jacket any time of year. Since there
are so many opportunities to walk, bring comfortable shoes. While light
showers can occur most commonly in November through March, the average
annual rainfall is less than 15 inches.
What to see - Nearby
attractions include Rodeo Drive shopping, The Grove, Los Angeles Museum of
Art, The Getty, Hollywood Bowl, Hollywood Walk of Fame, Santa Monica
beaches, UCLA campus and dozens of theme parks, zoos, museums and
entertainment.
