Coronado Municipal Golf Course offers one of the greatest values in Southern
California golfing. Perhaps that's why it is so popular. Not only is
the weather outstanding all year long, the views of the San Diego bay
are exceptional, too.
With low green fees and stunning views in every
direction (Coronado Bridge,
Hotel Del Coronado, and the San Diego Bay), the
relatively flat course offers enough challenges provided by its narrow
signature and course layout to make it a repeat attraction for locals and
visitors to San Diego.
Opened in
1957, Coronado Municipal Golf Course consistently ranks in the media as a
favorite. The 18-hole Coronado course at the Coronado Municipal Golf Course
facility in Coronado, California features 6,633 yards of golf from the
longest tees for a par of 72. The course rating is 71.8 and it has a slope
rating of 124 on Kikuyu grass. Designed by Jack L. Daray, Sr., ASGCA.
If you are
planning a golf vacation, you can reserve tee times at the Coronado Golf
Course or have your hotel concierge make reservations at any one of the
eighty golf courses in the San Diego area. Corporate event and meeting
planners will find this and many of San Diego's immaculate and pro-rated
courses ideal for their memorable functions.
