Ferry Landing Marketplace in Coronado
is a shopping center and launch point for ferry trips between Coronado
Island and San Diego mainland. Through there are land routes to the island,
the ferry offers an enjoyable, direct trip to downtown San Diego harbor
area, Amtrak station, Seaport Village and the Convention Center.

Excursion, a company that's been in operation on San Diego Bay since 1915,
shuttles between the Broadway Pier in downtown San Diego and The Ferry
Landing Marketplace on Coronado, running every hour all day from
approximately 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. (later on weekends). The price is less than
$10 round trip, making it a wonderful entertainment value. Tickets can
be purchased near the departure dock at a local shop that posts a sign about
ticket sales.
Ferry Landing Marketplace is a
waterfront outdoor shopping mall with a park, fishing pier, sandy beach and
bayfront bike path. Special events throughout the year include a Jazz
Festival in June, Santa's arrival by ferry in December and an authentic
Farmer's Market every Tuesday from 2:30 6:00 p.m.
Shops, art galleries, restaurants,
eateries and palm tree-lined walkways with reflecting ponds surrounded by
colorful flowers make this shopping center a fantastic place to enjoy.
