GenaRes Worldwide Reservation Services - Soledad, CA's Beach Vacation Chain Hotels
Soledad Beach Close Vacations
Soledad, California has been the fastest growing city in America, and that means we expect to see more hotels on the horizon. For now, the largely Hispanic region celebrates many traditions, but for tourists, the highlights to see and do include the Soledad Mission, a handful of wineries with events throughout the year, Pinnacles National Monument and several beautiful lakes for outdoor recreation. Surrounded to the east and west by two sets of mountains (Gabilan to the east and Santa Lucia mountains to the west), the city sits in a flat valley ideal for farming. As such, one of the highlights taken for granted by locals is the abundance and bounty of farm fresh foods.
Wineries in Soledad include: Chalone Vineyard adjacent to the west side of The Pinnacles; Hahn Estates, which welcomes visitors to its unique tasting room located below its family-owned vineyards on Foothill Blvd. in Soledad (hahnestates.com); Paraiso Springs Vineyards, which features a tasting room with sweeping panoramas at the edge of the 400 acre estate; Smith & Hook Winery; and Estancia Estates.
