San Luis Obispo is one of our favorite Central Coast California shopping trips. With a large college population in the mix, the city has lots of contemporary clothing styles at affordable prices. Trendy clothes and decorator items for your home are several of the highlights of a trip down the main shopping district in the historic section of the city. Also alocate time to dining and maybe even sampling some of the great microbrews that come from the local pubs. Coffee shops are popular, too. And of course, some of our favorite things to see and do in San Luis Obispo include the art museum, the historical museum, the kids museum, and wandering along the creek that runs by Mission San Luis Obispo. Be sure to visit the mission, as well. Whether Catholic or not, this is an historical attraction as one of 21 missions that were built over 100 years ago.
