What the chains offer in this region are, in general, amenities such as a small breakfast or full breakfast, swimming pool, and often refrigerators in rooms. When looking for a chain hotel, check out all its amenities, and don't forget to notice the nearby attractions. Some of the Redding chain hotels have restaurants next door, so you can grab a meal and a cocktail without having to drive. Then you can go back to your room and watch cable tv, work at your desk or extra table supplied, and stretch out and watch the beautiful sunset go down over another perfect Redding day. On some days you can touch the windows of your hotel room and feel the heat outside the window. But when you stand in a cool, comfortable space, you feel great. Coming from the beach, the heat is kind of refreshing, as long as you're in a nice hotel room where the airconditioning is working for you.
