| On a recent visit to California, Jan
Evans from Liberty, Missouri had time on her hands while her cousin she traveled with took an
arbitration class. Jan called a former
classmate and old friend, Roberta Garner of Garden Grove. The two met for a day
in Newport Beach and decided to take a trip to Paradise--a day on Catalina
Island. A few things
to do include visiting the Wrigley monument in the Botanical Gardens and
drinking margaritas in one of the bars or restaurants in Avalon. The two
activities get along quite well together as did old friends.
