Valentines Gifts for
Moms, With Love From Dads
Don't just buy the present for a
mother (your wife) on
Valentine's Day. Actually go
shopping with her, and let
her pick out what she wants.
Guys absolutely sweat bullets over this concept.
Take a woman shopping for
Valentine's Day (you can bring
the kids, and you take care of
them), and let your wife buy
what she wants.
First off, most guys HATE to shop. Sitting in a
women's boutique is absolutely
boring. Looking at things that
simply don't resonate is not
about you and what you want.
It's about your lady, and the
concept that on this special
day, you've decided to treat her
special and make her happy.
In addition to guys being tough as nails
shoppers, there's the added
obstacle of them not wanting to
spend money. You have to get a
grip on this. If you've been
married for some time, have
kids, etc., and she wants
something that seems expensive,
do you ever ask yourself what
happens when you DON'T go
shopping with her? This is
certainly an exercise in trust.
Many women are forced to buy
what they want or need, then
hide it from a spouse by leaving
it in the car trunk till it's
safe to sneak it in the house.
So guys, if you have to bite your tongue, just
try this exercise once on
Valentine's Day, and you will
have possibly created the first
step in developing the type of
trust that makes a women feel
closer to you--close enough to
share the more meaningful things
built on trust. Like intimacy
that you seek on Valentine's
Day, or any day, in fact.
