January
San Diego Boat Show
San Diego Boat
Show is held each winter/spring in the Seaport Marina and attracts
thousands of people to family entertainments. We've never seen the show, but
they send us their photos of the the water skiing squirrel, and they tell us
there are tons of things for kids to do at this family event held in San Diego.
Hotels nearby are pricey, but worth it. Having stayed at the
Hard Rock Hotel, it's a place kids will find totally cool. Right on the
marina is the
San
Diego Marriott Hotel & Marina. Not everyone can afford these hotels and so
you'll find some cheaper digs.
Days
Inn Mission Bay will usually cost you one/fourth the price of the other
hotels mentioned.
Mission Valley Travelodge sometimes has great prices. You get what you pay
for usually. So just decide what you can afford and always buy the rooms that
suit your budget. But it's OK to splurge and cut out movies and other expenses
just to enjoy a one or two night stay in San Diego.
