Redwood Coast California Hotel
Map Reservations, Prices and
Information
California's Redwood Coast Hotels Map below shows a mostly coastal geographic
region, comprised of
large portions of National Parks and California State Parks lands. The
scenic area offers outdoor activities in some of the tallest, oldest
forests in the world, wine country influence in dining, and a unique
blend of shopping with craftsman influence. The
ocean temperatures are cold here, it
rains most months and scenery is breathtaking. |

*Water
& air temperatures in degrees
Fahrenheit; rainfall in inches
rounded to nearest
increment
Note: The Redwood
Coast's lowest average
air temperature at night
is in January, measured
at approx. 41 degrees
Fahrenheit. There can be
trace amounts of
snowfall in December
through February, though
snow doesn't normally
accumulate on the ground
due to the warm oceanic
influence. The beaches
and ocean temperature
are not generally
conducive to swimming
and even sunbathing can
be chilly. This
northernmost region of
California has water
temperatures in the
summer that are nearly
20 degrees lower than
California's southern
beaches of San Diego,
almost 1000 miles
distance.
