Nutcracker Ballet Contest open to youth K-12
“THE NUTCRACKER DRAWING CONTEST”
As active participants in the community,
Coast City Ballet fosters excellence in the arts, and in education. With
this in mind, Coast City Ballet will hold it’s First Annual ‘The Nutcracker
Drawing Contest”
The contest is open to all students grades K-12 (including cast members) and
it will determine the cover art for this year’s production of The
Nutcracker.
Drawings will be selected by a panel of Judges. Prizes will be awarded to
1st, 2nd and 3rd place winners. The winning drawing will be featured on the
program cover, posters, t-shirts, and other advertising materials.
Winning drawings and runners up will be featured on Coast City Ballet’s
website, displayed at the theater during performances, and at various area
locations.
Participation is easy, each student should fill an Entry Form and return it
along with their drawing by October 10tth. Contest rules an entry forms are
