Tip Number
One: LET HER SLEEP IN, GET HER
THE BREAKFAST SHE LIKES, AND GET
HER A DECENT (AS IN NICE) ROOM
WITH AN OCEAN OR BAY VIEW!
Tip Number One for dudes is shown above. OK guys.
You let her sleep in if
she wants, you bring
breakfast to her when she
wants it, and you let her
wake up to some fantastic view
on the bay, the beach, or
next to slopes of a snowy
mountain top.
How hard can it be for a guy to provide the perfect
Valentine's Day or weekend
getaway with children? It's not
rocket science. It requires
putting your manly needs out of
mind for a while, and just
treating your lady like a queen.
Not to get too weird, but just think about when you were a
kid and you were supposed to
spoil your mom and do some
really awesome thing for her on
Mother's Day or her birthday.
When you have your own set of
kids, sometimes the thing a
woman wants most on Valentine's
Day is to be treated like a
queen--really special, that is.
A romantic roll in the silk sheets can be too hyped up. But
if you remove all the concerns a
mother carries around with her
that stand in the way of having
romance, then the chances are
good that the getaway can be a
success, with children in tow,
even.
Shown above is a gorgeous suite at
Loews Coronado Bay
Resort. You can take the kids on
over to the beach and let the
woman of the hotel room sleep
in, waking to the San Diego
overcast that breaks through to
sunshine by noon. Then off all
of you go for adventure.
And don't ignore the California
mountains for memorable
kids Christmas vacations
filled with snow, sledding and
family gatherings at night
around the fire.
