Inland Pacific Ballet Nutcracker
Inland Empire's Nutcracker Ballet is
produced by the Inland Pacific Ballet.
It includes over 100 dancers, splendid
costumes, stage sets and lighting, and
artistic direction by Victoria Koenig.
In addition, talented Kevin Myers
co-directs.
A
cast of four choreographers with long
lists of credits lend to the excellence
in production and execution of this
Nutcracker seen by thousands throughout
the holiday season annually.
Held
in an elegant theater built in 1931 in
Claremont, California, Bridges was
widely regarded as the finest theater in
Southern California because of its white
columns, vaulting arches, grand marble
foyer, and hand painted coffered
ceilings. This 2400 seat opera house is
the home to seasonal productions and
performances of the Inland Pacific
Ballet Company.
Founded in 1991, the Inland Pacific
Ballet offers students opportunities to
perform locally, then advance to
national and international dance
companies. Many students have performed
with Joffrey Ballet, Houston Ballet, San
Francisco Ballet and School of American
Ballet in New York, for example.
Director Victoria Koenig has performed
nationally and co-founded the Los
Angeles Chamber Ballet. Associate
Director Kevin Myers is nationally
recognized, as well, and has performed
solo roles in Giselle, Swan Lake and the
Nutcracker Ballet, as well as principal
roles in Balanchine ballets.
Actor
and Principal Dancer Christopher Bonomo
has performed in Nutcracker and many
other productions at Inland Pacific
Ballet. Other Principal Dancers include
Jennifer Friel,Daniel Kirk, Kelly
Lamoureux, Stephanie Orza, Eric Shah,
Sarah Spradlin, Steven Voznick and many
additional talented guests and soloists.
