The Nature Center's Wildflower Extravaganza will continue on
Saturday, May 24th at 1p.m. with another film showing. Families

have gathered wildflowers from the desert to the San Gorgonio
Pass and the San Jacinto Mountain Range for display. Guest
speakers will discuss species, characteristics of plants and
gardening tips. Traditional Native plant usages will also be
featured. Naturalist-led walks, kid-crafts and music throughout
the Memorial Day weekend offer an exceptional experience
honoring Idyllwild's rich heritage and beautiful, natural
environment. When visiting
Idyllwild, there are many opportunities to explore the
outdoors. Horseback riding, nature hikes, boating, fishing,
horseback riding and mountain biking are a few. Each weekend in
the town square music floats through the air at the
indoor/outdoor cafes where guest musicians sing contemporary
songs. A full calendar of events is listed on idyllwildlife.com. |
