California Zip Lines  and Zipline Ride Information

California Travel--Who says you have to get old? Who says you can't swing anymore, or ride through the jungle with reckless abandon? The invention of zip lines and installation of them into California destinations with open spaces has created a whole new form of tourism that never was. And it's attracting aged adults seeking a fun, safe thrill as they attach themselves with a safety belt to wires strung across jungles and forests, beginning and ending at a series of wooden platforms.

Within a few short years, we've seen zip lines spring up throughout California from San Diego Zoo's Wild Animal Park to the beaches of Catalina Island, and in the mountains and caverns of Northern California Sierras. The ride requires not much in the way of physical activity and its thrill is milder than the upside down g-force rides on roller coasters at California theme parks, but the wow factor of zipping through the air, suspended above nature's forests is what really turns people on. And they'll spend anywhere for $25 to around $100 to take this joy ride that rekindles the excitement felt as a child when you felt your first exciting rush on some ride.

Big Bear Lake has a zipline in the tallest pines. Catalina Island has a zipline providing rides from mountain peak-to-peak.

Moaning Caverns has twin 1500 foot zip line. Available daily, year round, no experience necessary. Our physical address is: 5350 Moaning Cave Road, Vallecito, CA 95251, USA. caverntours.com
