SAN FRANCISCO -
St. Patrick's Day Parade. With beginnings that grew out of
the California Gold Rush, this parade is one of the hottest
tickets in California for St. Patrick's Day, only rivaled by the
San Diego celebrations. An estimated 250,000 attend the
San Francisco St.
Patrick's Day Parade, and many stick around to partake of
the food, dance and song. Join the fun in the 156th
annual St. Patrick's event. St. Parade begins at 11:30
a.m., festival 10 a.m.–5 p.m. Route is 2nd and Market St. to
