beautiful garden setting with 125 artists, plus live

year's theme is "Venetian Carnival." The event runs

NEWPORT BEACH -
Screening of The
Village Barbershop presented by the Newport Beach Film
Festival. Co-presented by the Newport Beach Film Festival and
the Orange County Museum of Art, Cinema Orange will spotlight
the cinematic works of independent filmmakers from around the
world. Celebrating its fourth season, the 2008 Cinema Orange
summer film series will showcase an eclectic slate of feature
length narrative, documentary, short and animated films from the
recent 2008 Newport Beach Film Festival. Dedicated to
championing the works of aspiring and established filmmakers,
the Festival and OCMA proudly embrace the passion, independent
spirit and creative vision of these talented artists.
Interactive question and answer with filmmakers will follow
select screenings. Films will screen on select Thursday evenings
in the museum's auditorium. Film screenings are free with museum

Sunset Cocktail Cruises. Hornblower’s New Summer Sunset
Cocktail Cruises! Held every Thursday through September 4,
Hornblower is celebrating summer by introducing the New Summer
Sunset Cocktail Cruises! You’ll enjoy breathtaking views of the
sunset from the deck of a Hornblower yacht and a front row seat
to view the sailboat races. Hornblower’s two-hour Cocktail
Cruise features complimentary appetizers, drink specials and
amazing views. The appetizer menu varies but may include
favorites such as, chips and salsa, fresh garden crudités with
herbed ranch dressing, Jamaican seasoned beef skewers with
mango-pineapple salsa, firecracker chicken with chili cream, and
vegetable spring rolls with ginger plum sauce. Tickets are $28
per person plus tax. Boarding begins at 6:00pm and cruises from
6:30pm- 8:30pm. The cruise is open to the public and
