CLEAR LAKE Kulture Shock
Car Show 3rd Annual event includes classic cars. $1
beers, food, raffles, music and fun. Live band, beer, food and
vendors. Cars include 1964 & older, traditional 50s and 60s
style hot-rods, customs, gassers and classics. Motorcycles
include original, traditional 50s, 60s chopper and bobber
styles. Cost to enter car: $20 -25, free admission for
qualifying cars. Open to the public, general admission is

PISMO BEACH - The
Pismo Beach Classic. The Pismo Beach Classic is a 3 -day fun
filled event. Held in beautiful Pismo Beach, California -
Pier-side & throughout downtown Pismo Beach. Central
California's finest seaside classic & street rod car show. Now
over 23 years old, the attendance is around 100,000 spectators
who come from around the globe to see hundreds of classic
restorations and street rods. Featured events are a Car Show &
Shine, "Cruise Night" when hundreds of cars parade for thousands
of spectators who line the streets, Live Entertainment.
"The Hot Rod Bar and Grill" provides the venue for outstanding
live entertainment, live Charity Auction, great food, drink and

County Fair - Summer of Sports is the theme for the fifth
largest fair in North America. The San Diego County Fair
features the largest midway in the region and top-name
performing artists on the grandstand stage, while maintaining
its traditional county fair attractions including: Livestock,
Home & Hobby, Woodworking, an award-winning Flower Show, great
rides and a variety of food and commercial concessions. "Summer
of Sports" will celebrate a wide variety of sports at all

LOMPOC - Village Days.
Mission La Purisima Concepcion celebrates the past with
re-enactments of
traditional skills and crafts brought to La Purisima Mission by
the Chumash Indians. Grinding acorns, shaping tule dolls,
making baskets, building tule houses, making stone and shell
beads, arrow making and playing Chumash games are some

PETALUMA -
2008 Sonoma-Marin Fair. Sustainable Agriculture Showcase,
World’s Ugliest Dog Contest and Lucha Libre wrestling, wine
garden, musical acts and Destruction Derby are some of this
fair's top draws. There was even scandal when someone tried to
rig the online voting results of the Ugliest Dog contest. This
year should be equally intriguing, and exciting. Cost: $15
