Who doesn't love the
romance of a cool April night in California's Shasta Cascade
region? The springtime renewal of the fresh falls cascading from
the mountains into the lakes and rivers, the slight chill in the
air and the hint of a hot summer on the way are all combined in
the special time of year. This is the time that's absolutely
perfect for anything at all, but especially ideal for a car
show. Redding, an event "driven" city, seems to look for
excuses to celebrate. Every season is festive and welcoming for
tourists especially. And this April event, the Kool April Nites,
is an ideal trip for those seeking something different. From
L.A., you can hop on a direct flight to Redding Airport and be
there, without driving you not-so-classic car. Rental cars are
available at the airport. Still too early to catch the opening
of the beautiful
Lassen Volcanic National Park, take a springtime drive to
see
Burney Falls and
Lake Shasta Cavern Tours and the Shasta Dam.
During the car event,
there will be dances, car cruising on one special night, games,
prizes, music, food and cars galore.
