Begonia
Festival. 56th Annual Nautical Parade includes begonia
covered barges floating down Soquel Creek to the Lagoon. Great
views from the Stockton Bridge, Cliff Avenue and Wharf Road.
Other events during the day include Horseshoes on the Sand 8 AM
- Finish Capitola Beach in front of the Venetian Hotel. Float
Construction Viewing all day, Chalk Art on the Seawall 9 AM -
Noon at the seawall on the Esplanade. Begonias to go, Head to
Toe! 11 AM - Noon In Esplanade Park. Become a part of the
Festival! Create and design a festive hat for the occasion!

HUNTINGTON BEACH -
Civil War Re-enactment and Encampment. The public is invited
to enjoy the days gone by in the living history show in
Huntington Central Park complete
with Abe Lincoln.
Live canon battles, camps, actors in costume and food vendors.
Schedule: Saturday, Sept. 1 - 10 a.m. opens, 1:30 p.m. battle;
living history weapons demo at 2:30 p.m., final battle at 4
p.m., twilight concert to follow. Sunday, Sept. 2 - Church
service at 8 a.m., camp opens at 9 a.m., first battle at 11

Jazz Ensemble. Concerts in the Park invites you to bring a
picnic basket and settle in for a shady evening of free
entertainment under the eucalyptus groves of Huntington Beach's

LAGUNA BEACH - Sawdust
Festival. Sawdust Art Festival features over 175 artists and
creators with original, handcrafted gift items that include:

Biggest One Day Running Event. Includes a grand finale in
the Coliseum with Kayne West Concert. Run locations span the
globe, while the L.A. event takes to the streets of downtown
