Shocking walk-through mazes, re-themed rides and one scare
experience, with Knott’s Annual Haunt and 1,000 costumed
creatures wandering the park, mazes and rides. October 24-31.
Knott’s Berry Farm closes at 5:30 p.m. each evening and reopens
at 7 p.m. as Knott’s Scary Farm. The fear continues until 1 a.m.

St. between Roycroft and Granada avenues and lasts about an
hour. More than 550 dogs last year helped us to raise more than

VENTURA - Day of the
Dead (Dia de los Muertos) Community Celebration - 7th Annual Dia
de los Muertos event is one of the most important holidays in
many parts of Mexico, but the tradition is now popular in the
United States among non-Latinos as well as Latinos. Museum of
Ventura County festival of the Days of the Dead features
colorful ofrendas (altars to honor the dead) by local artists,
schools and community groups, traditional dancing by Danza
Azteca Cuauhtemoc, music by Mariachi Costa de Oro, and Mexican
folk crafts to try, including papel picado, papier-mâché
butterflies, paper flowers and masks, and sugar skull
