October 26, 2007 Events in California
October 26, 2007
Events - If you had been in California on Friday
October 26, 2007, you would have found the weather mild
and pleasant throughout the state, with some clouds and
rain on the northern coast in places such as Humboldt
County.
October 2007 Calendar
California events
in October have increasingly leaned to the
unconventional theme park scare experiences that were
first popularized by Knotts Berry Farm. There are
try-outs for these events each year with actually
auditions for screaming and other talents. In
2007, Disneyland mildly tried to enter the fray for
another year with advertisements throughout Southern
California showing a pumpkin with a Mickey Mouse face on
it. But, they did not promote anything in particular,
which then made no statement as to why one would be
compelled to choose that park over Knotts, or Universal
Studios and its Halloween Horror Nights.
