BRAWLEY - The Brawley
Cattle Call Rodeo. The first two rodeos - in 1957 and 1958 -
were amateur competitions. The event went "pro" in 1960 when it
was sanctioned by the Professional Rodeo Cowboys Association (PRCA).

LODI - The First Sip – Celebrating Lodi’s New Vintage
Wines. Attendees will enjoy mingling with the winemakers as they
unveil the new 2007 wines with barrel sampling, blending
seminars, cellar tours, live entertainment, a host of
educational activities and tempting culinary delights. Over 30
Lodi wineries will open their doors for this new Fall wine
festival, which runs from 11 AM to 4 PM each day.
Ticket $35 / $45 at the door, includes commemorative
tasting glass, event map and admission to all participating
