November 2007 is a festive
month in California for event activities. Kids have gone back to
school, autumn is in the air and Halloween just ended. But wait,
there's another holiday, Thanksgiving. It's a time honored
tradition in the USA to cook a turkey dinner, watch football,
and plan your strategy for holiday shopping for Christmas.
Each year the events
surrounding Thanksgiving have increased to healthier activities
such as Turkey Trot, a community run for exercise and fun. The
fall harvest, wine harvests and craft fairs such as Sacramento
Harvest Festival are plentiful. And the snow skiing season
should be coming on strong, along with the annual ice skating
rinks installed for a one-to-two month run for holiday pleasure.
LA Auto Show is a huge event that's changed dates this year from
December to November. New car models are unveiled during this
great show. Californians span hundreds of diverse cultures and
religions as evidenced in a Sikh Parade in Yuba City this month.
