California Festivals and Fairs in April
include classic cars, classic yachts,
sailboats, race cars and lots of racing
on the streets of Long Beach and the
ocean waters off the shore of Newport
Beach, San Diego and all points in
between. Citrus is big in April. Orange,
grapefruit, apples, avocados and lots of
food and flower events are celebrated in
the Golden State, one of the top food
producers in the USA. April usually
brings sunny warm days, perfect for
celebrating the many events that occur
annually in California cities and at the
beach. Bring your appetite. You will
need it at the April Festivals and Fairs
in California.
For those visiting the fairs and
festivals, you may need accommodations
or hotel reservations in advance of your
trip. Depending on the size of the fair
or festival, the hotel and resort
accommodations can be booked well in
advance of the function, especially on
the weekends at the California Beach
resorts and hotels. The Long Beach Grand
Prix is one such event that may fill the
hotel rooms in the surrounding area. If
you are hoping to visit a California
destination, it is wise to find out what
events are occurring in that region
prior to going. Perhaps friends are
having a wedding or other function and
you need to reserve a hotel room.
If you are caught unaware, you may end
up driving for miles or paying a lot
more money for accommodations.
Sometimes it can't be avoided but if you
can do some research and book early, you
will save yourself stress as your trip
approaches.
