California expired and past events are archived for those who realize they've forgotten to submit the event to us yet another year. You can retrieve your previous event from these lists and it may help you save time so you do not have to rewrite it for the next annual happening. Our up-to-date calendar is maintained daily, offering visitors, locals and planners ideas of things to do and things that others have created. See the current Calendar. Throughout the years of publishing Beachcalifornia, we've enjoyed observing and posting the great activities held throughout the state. Each time we discover something new, with the eyes of children we eagerly explore the online information about a cultural festival or fair, and hold great pride that we live in California, and can contribute to the knowledge base of events for those seeking to become a part of a community, or see what something offers and experience it first hand. It is amazing the range of activities that take on the flavor of geographic region. From harvests to crafts, cars, cows and chili, we wish we could bring it all to you... but that would be overwhelming! If you feel an event is noteworthy and deserves being posted on the current list, don't hesitate to send it our way.

In addition to the calendar, we also keep a press section with press releases supplied by destination management organizations (DMO's), conference and visitors bureaus, and public relations professionals and agencies.

And finally, we also keep an indexed month-by-month list of California Festivals & Fairs. It does tend to become outdated slightly as many organizations will change the month of the event, and in rare instances, cancel it completely. We usually find out from our readers, or in our annual searches.  The rules of the road when thinking of attending events is to always make contact with the planning entity and confirm information. Those submitting often forget to tell us they made modifications. Any inconvenience the traveler experiences should reflect on the planning agency's lack of communication or information to us and other calendars. So please, call before you go a long distance!
