SANTA ANA, Calif. —Bowers Museum memberships
offer
more now than ever before. With the opening of the new Dorothy and Donald
Kennedy Wing and new
exhibits, the same $65 active membership ($45 for seniors 62 and over,
students and teachers) now allows two adults, plus children in the
member’s household under 18, unlimited admission for a year to both Bowers
Museum and Kidseum.
Admission to Bowers Museum and all exhibits on weekdays is currently
$17 for adults, $12 for seniors (62+) and students, and children (5 and
under) are free. Weekend admission prices to all exhibits are $19 for
adults; $14 for seniors (62+) and students; and children (5 and under)
are free. The current admission price to Kidseum, only, is $5 per
person over the age of 3. With same-day admission to Bowers Museum, Kidseum
is free for all those carrying a paid ticket. Children ages 3-4 are $5
each.
In addition to unlimited admission, members receive discounts in the
gallery stores and to classes, lectures, book signings and other events;
invitations to members-only exhibition previews, open houses and unique
travel opportunities; and a subscription to Bowers’ quarterly
newsletter “Passport.”
“A typical family of four, with school-age children, visiting on a
weekend can visit the museum and Kidseum for less by buying a membership
than they can by buying general admission,” says Richard. “And, they can
come back again and again within the year for free. Now that’s a
deal.”
