California beaches website built the handy dandy blog to showcase all the daily happenings that don’t quite fit into destination focused pages and categories of a 10+ year young, vibrant site that LOVES California’s beaches, cities, vacations, kids, dogs, hotels, resorts, restaurants…all things California.
Dedicating over 10 years of service to this wonderful state and its assets, we at Californiabeaches.com, or Beachcalifornia.com, recognize that our beaches are truly a national treasure rank with other wonders of the world. More people live at and flock to beaches than any other vacations in California.
California kids vacations: Do you need to knw where to take the kids on vacation, or maybe just figure out what to do with them as family fun? California kids vacations tries to delve into the topics that surround travel with children such as disabled youth family travel, divorced parents and travel, and other important factors that impact your real world concerns.
Californa beach hotels: Hotels on the sand in California are slim and with good reason. The citizens long ago decided it was important to preserve and protect the California coastline so it would not turn into another situation like Florida where you often must pay to gain access to private beaches. We don’t want that in California and are willing to sacrifice hotels on the beach for public access. There are some beach hotels grandfathered in before laws went into place so you can still enjoy the beach experience. Plus, many hotels overlook the beach, and that allows you to watch people, one of the most fun things to do on vacations.
California events: Each day there are over 100,000 things to do in California. But we are limited by resources and time, so we only post a few that people submit, or that interest us. Fairs, festivals, concerts, car shows and other such events are important community gatherings that invite tourists to join the fun. Enjoy what we’ve found or let us know what you like, too. We just require the basics to submit your event. Name, date, time, cost, address, phone, website, etc. Pictures are great, allowing us to build dedicated pages for repeat, annual events. Get on our “wall”.
