Debbie Stock began her journalism career after graduating with a B.S. in Photojournalism from the University of Kansas School of Journalism. She has written and photographed for over 100 news publications globally and her work has appeared in thousands of media outlets via press release distribution through Fortune 500 corporations.

Currently publishing over 10 online web sites that range from travel and tourism to Real Estate and shopping, Stock continues to maintain a passion and focus on travel journalism. She appreciates submissions and generally runs stories and photos that do not require too much editing.

Stock has enjoyed a 10 year career in online travel journalism as a publisher, and also works for or sells stories and photos to print media such as magazines, newspapers, and trade journals. Special projects have included scenic travel calendars, travel books, post cards and gift cards.

Clients have ranged from hotels and destination management organizations (DMOs) to telecommunications, electric utilities and other such firms.

Stock worked two years as communications manager at Huntington Beach Marketing and Visitors Bureau and built the web site surfcityusa.com.  She also worked 10 years as a freelance contractor for California Travel Industry Association.

Stock is a member of North American Travel Journalists Association, National Press Photographers Association, and products sold on the site are provided through BBB’s accredited business program.
