The West Coast Rockabilly finals at Orange County Market Place in Costa Mesa on Sat., June 5 provided some heated action and incredible performances with the winner of the music play-offs, Blue Collar Combo, taking home the prize. $1,000 in cash awards and the opportunity to open for James Intveld on Sunday, June 20, are included.
Sunny skies set the tone for this event, a four hour concert that was free with admission to the Market Place, held each Saturday and Sunday at the Orange County Fairgrounds. You can see live entertainment most weekends at the Orange County Market Place which includes great shopping with nearly 1,000 vendors, including food and beverages. In its 41st year, the swap meet operates every Saturday and Sunday except during the annual Orange County Fair. Hours are 7 a.m. to 4 p.m. Location: 88 Fair Drive, Costa Mesa, CA.
