Corona’s Koroneburg European Old World Festival is exciting for all ages with jousting and battles, while Costa Mesa has its famous, Free Train Rides. When the train arrives at Goathill Junction, you’ll see the kid’ eyes light up. 24th Coulterville Howl and Car Show hits the streets of this gold town. Howling isn’t what you hope for at Doheny Blues Festival, however. Hopefully it will provide some soulful blues tunes, great guitar licks, and a good time at the beach of Dana Point.
City of Encinitas 5K-1K Run/Walk is held at the beach, while Folsom’s Run with Nature at the Parkway is an inland event.
In Huntington Beach, it’s a luau! while Salinas Valley Fair features a carnival in King City. Lakeport’s Lake County Passion Play is worth seeing, or you can opt for the irrevernt Full Monty in Lancaster. Long Beach Gay Pride Festival celebrates the city’s diversity at Rainbow Lagoon, while in LA, Gregg Young rocks as Smooth Jazz Artist of the Year at The Dome Arclight Theater, 6360 W.
