VinOlivo Wine & Food Event - The Lodge at Sonoma Feb. 12, 2010

Posted by: Beach Reporter In: california| events

Do you like food and wine? Well you better get packing for the VinOlivo event, which is the toast of the town and feast for the senses! Enjoy all that Sonoma Valley wine country has to offer. Held at the Lodge at Sonoma, I’ve had the pleasure of staying at this hotel and absolutely loved it. Two things stood out. While there was some sort of power sub-station near the property that wasn’t that great, I liked my bed so much that after a week on the road, I wanted to stay longer and get some peaceful sleep. The hotel’s Carneros Bistro & Wine Bar served a salad that I swore I’d fly back for to dine on once again. I doubt it is still on the menu but I can attest that the food in this region is some of the best, which make the VinOlivo event one of the best attended sell-outs.
