Out of the Blue, Tahoe Gets Media Coverage with Peter Greenburg Show

South Lake Tahoe, Calif.–Peter Greenberg’s Worldwide Travel Radio Show Showcases South Lake Tahoe – South Lake Tahoe expects to receive international media exposure to over 150 radio stations, Sirius/XM and Armed Forces Radio during “Peter Greenberg’s Worldwide Travel Radio Show,” Saturday of Thanksgiving weekend, November 28. Greenberg, the travel editor for CBS News and a nationally recognized travel expert, recently taped his weekly radio program at Edgewood Tahoe. A three-hour listenerinteractive show offers insider tips and travel secrets from around the world. The self proclaimed Travel Detective circles the globe in search of the extraordinary, out-of-the way and unique, broadcasting weekly from a different remote location.
The program included five South Shore representatives
- Terri Marceron, supervisor of the U.S. Forest Service
- Todd Offenbacher, Resort Sports Network, host and founder of the Tahoe Adventure Film Festival
- Dave Borges, local historian
- Curtis Fong, “The Guy from Tahoe” and creator of America’s Most Beautiful Bike Ride
- Allen Biagi, Governing Board chair of Tahoe Regional Planning Agency
Having Peter broadcast from South Lake Tahoe on his nationally-syndicated radio show demonstrates the destination’s appeal, according to Carol Chaplin, executive director, Lake Tahoe Visitors Authority.
Heavenly Mountain Resort and the Lake Tahoe Visitors Authority sponsored the Lake Tahoe broadcast.
