Posted by: Beach Reporter In: california| events| travel

Live animals such as camels, sheep and goats are some of the stars in the Mount of Olives Nativity Drive-Thru, now in its 14th year in Mission Viejo (Orange County).  The two night event reenacts the story of Christ’s birth with 10 live scenes. Guests may either drive-thru the event or walk, and also hear inspirational music transmitted on a special radio frequency.  Food donations are being requested this year for those who can afford to bring canned goods that will be delivered to South County Outreach’s (SCO) food pantry (www.sco-oc.org).  Event Time: 5 to 10 p.m. both nights. Cost: Free admission. Location:  Mount of Olives Church, 24772 Chrisanta Drive, Mission Viejo, CA 92691. Call: (949) 837-7467. mo2church.org  See more nativity events
