Jamba Juice Flatbreads are Pretty Good
Posted by: Beach Reporter In: california| dining

Jamba Juice unveiled its newest line of products to go along with those yummy smoothies, juices and protein shakes. When the corporation introduced its new flatbreads pizzas that come in four flavors, the stores gave them away to the first 100- 150 customers to come in and try them between 2 and 5 p.m. on November 17.
In downtown Huntington Beach, there’s wasn’t any line to go in and try a pizza. We sampled one–the smokehouse chicken that sells for $3.75 and has only 300 calories. Filled with corn, light cheese, a few beans, tomato pieces and a couple little pieces chicken, it fills you up enough that you don’t need anything else for a while. Somewhere between a snack and a meal, the 300 calorie count is ideal for those looking to lose weight, or cut back on calorie consumption.
Jamba Juice started in San Luis Obispo in 1990. A small group of wellness minded people, one store and a mountain of passion turned a simple dream of healthy living into a business that now includes around 750 stores nationwide, and is based in Emeryville, CA.
