USC Football Coach John Robinson Featured at Trojan Dinner

Orange County, CA – The Trojan Club of Orange County (TCOC) will host its second dinner and speaker event on Wednesday, November 18, 2009, featuring College Football Hall of Fame Coach John Robinson at the Doubletree Hotel in Santa Ana at 6:15 p.m.  See map

John Robinson is best known for his two stints as head coach of the University of Southern California (USC) football team and for his tenure as head coach of the Los Angeles Rams of the National Football League. His USC teams won four Rose Bowls, and captured a share of the 1978 national championship.  In 2009, Robinson was elected to the College Football Hall of Fame.

Also attending the event with be Dr. Arthur C. Bartner, The Spirit of Troy marching band & USC Song Girls, along with members from Coach Robinson’s 1979 USC Rose Bowl Championship team, including Heisman Trophy winner Charles White and Lombardi Trophy winner Brad Budde.
