Petaluma Really “Digs” Halloween

Shown in the photo is Petaluma’s Amazing Corn Maze, Pumpkin Patch & Haunted Corn Field

Petaluma, CA–From the Slaughterhouse Hauntings to the Amazing Corn Maze that turns into a haunted corn field after dark, Petaluma, California is no stranger to Halloween–they really “dig” it.

The Amazing Corn Maze and Pumpkin Patch is one of the top family attractions where kids learn all about the farm. They discover that the pumpkins and squash are grown by digging the earth, planting and nurturing the green shoots that become beautiful pumpkins.

In addition to this great attraction and the gruesome Haunted House, the Heritage House hosts a night of story telling, pumpkin carving and a unique event in which the pumpkins are lit and sent down the river on a craft (heritagepetaluma.com). If that isn’t enough excitement, downtown Petaluma merchants are hosting a Trick or Treat Trail on Oct. 31.
